Artistic license in certain details, not the whole. Like the "Deep Throat" character in JFK was not real, but he still spoke the truth. Donald Sutherland's character sums it up, what it was really all about and what it is still all about. Wars for profit and power. The USA's original sin. And it's really-really bad right now, just as bad as during the Vietnam era.
