One again Moose you write very wise words. Unfortunately my children's grandparents did not see it that way. My mother was deceased and she would have read to them. My father is grumpy or else would have seen that. My inlaws preferred to entertain with a TV. I took personal responsibility to see that they were read to.

I like Naomi's idea of buying them books every year.
