That's a good argument for Obama to pick an older or more experienced VP. Eisenhower warned us. We've known since January 1961 that there are unacceptable risks if a President automatically accepts what the JCOS tell him. Kennedy fell for it with the Bay of Pigs. Johnson fell for it in 1965. Bush 43 was just pig-headed (not meaning to offend any pigs). Bush 41, Powell, and Schwarzkopf knew what they were doing and knew enough about the limits of power. I can't believe in this country we have to go through 9 more months until the idiot is replaced. Are there any known situations or requests where Bush 43 turned down a JCOS request or position?
