NZ$ should reach US40c. There are huge debts. Borrowing and spending money makes people feel rich. When the interest charges keep coming and they have stopped spending, they don't feel so rich.

When the Japanese housewife uridashi goes belly up, it's not good for the NZ$ either. Everyone will be trying to get their money out of the high interest zone at the same time. They will sell their NZ$ to whom? I will buy a Tonka Truckload when it's back down to the low 40s, but hold out for the 30s if things are looking really grim.
