The INTC deal is very interesting and it may have a lot to do with the size of the short position. By keeping EMKR's price low during the negotiations, INTC may have created a great bargain price for their newly acquired shares. No one will ever be able to link the 2, INTC and the sizable short position, but its not beyond the games Wall St plays. A hint here, a wink there and behind the scenes encouraging of a "well known short website" to do a piece at just the right time! In the long run its good for all involved, except the few idiot shorts who jump in way too late in the process and those who bought long just before the stock tanked. jmo...and who knows if any of the above has merit?!?! One thing for sure, there is going to be a lot of covering in the next few weeks!!! TO
