Hell they had that before we invaded. What a dumb remark. They had embarked on an idiotic war with Iran that killed hundreds of thousands. They had attacked Kuwait, which required us to step and a decimate a substantial portion of their military. Saddam's absolute refusal to comply with demands of the UN wrt WMD and the ceasefire caused them to enter yet ANOTHER war with the US. Some of us often forget that there would have been no Iraq War had Saddam acquiesced to demands from the International community for proof of WMD destruction and had he abided by the terms of the cease fire agreement. But no, he chose not to do this and thus, had to be removed.
