My lymphoma expertise was in an extremely narrow field. One can't be an expert in a wide range of things. It takes years to get a general knowledge sufficient to even narrow things down. One CAN become expert in very narrow fields in short periods of time.

Most medical issues are very narrow matters. One doesn't need to know much about synapses to fix a stubbed toe. One doesn't need to know about ankle bones to calculate probabilities, costs and value of skin lesion treatment. But you probably know that.

What you apparently don't seem to know is that the guild/cartel limits supply to keep prices high. One can't just set up shop as a stubbed toe repair merchant, or lobotomy provider. So I won't be getting guild papers any time soon.

I'm also glad to have been better at diagnosis than doctors. I'm alive as a result. Gary isn't. My wife is also alive thanks to our diagnosis, NOT the skin specialist's wrong diagnosis.
