Golden Goose hits multiple high nickel, copper and palladium grades at Lac Levac

ca.news.finance.yahoo.com

MONTREAL, April 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Golden Goose Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GGR) (the "Company") is pleased to report that it has received the results for the first seven holes of its 2008 winter drilling program at its Lac Levac nickel project. The Company is continuing to outline the eastern extension of the NISK-1 anomaly on the property, which is wholly-owned by Golden Goose and lies 216 km north of Chibougamau in the James Bay area of northern Quebec.

"The winter drilling appears to indicate that the mineralized zone identified in the main area remains continuous as it deepens to the east," said Jean-Marc Lacoste, President of Golden Goose. "We are also seeing higher nickel grades and significantly higher copper and palladium content in this area that in the main section of the deposit."

"These new holes will be included in the 43-101 resource estimate that will be completed and released shortly," added Mr. Lacoste.

All the holes intersected the target and returned interesting results that are interpreted as representing a continuous zone. The best nickel grade was 2.3% over 2.0 metres as part of a 5.0-metre intersection grading 1.94% Ni in Hole 56-08. The Company also intersected 4.44% Cu and 2.64 g/t Pd over 1.0 m in Hole 61-08. Full results for the seven holes are as follows:

Analyses were done by Accurassay Laboratories, Thunder Bay, Ontario. All
samples are tested using a full scan ICP following an Aqua-Regia
digestion. Ore grade samples are then reanalyzed by atomic absorption. Pt
and Pd are tested by Fire Assay using lead collection.

can be found at

goldengooseres.com.

The NISK-1 anomaly remains open at depth and along strike in both directions. A resource estimate dated July 2007 showed an indicated resource of 516,000 tonnes at 0.89% nickel, 0.39% copper, 0.06% cobalt, 0.79 g/t palladium and 0.14 g/t platinum and an inferred resource of 734,000 tonnes at 0.89% nickel, 0.34% copper, 0.06% cobalt, 0.77 g/t palladium and 0.14 g/t platinum.

The Lac Levac drilling programs are planned and supervised by Marc-Antoine Beaupré, a geological engineer and the qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. He has approved the contents of this press release.
