OT:While you believe GW did this I think it was J.Q. Public who spent countless hours writing various agencies and finally after a man named Patrick Bryne who is friends with Warren Buffet stepped up things started to change.

Thank God Patrick Bryne is a wealthy man who was effected by naked shorting and was willing to spend the money and time to get the ball rolling.

I think if GW had anything to do with stopping it it was only because he was just a thread short of himself, probably his Father and a bunch of others who hang with them were just about to get exposed. It wouldn't surprise me that some day in history we'll find out about what really happened.

My guess is we won't hear about it but our Grand children will.

I also believe the other thing that saved us is the new rules saying banks much know their customer and will be held liable if they try to say different. The bank isn't going to cover for these guys if they have to pay the tab. That might be why this time, unlike the last time they pulled this off we hopefully won't end up in the streets or maybe if we're lucky living in our cars. They know where the money is and they know what happened. They didn't figure out what happened before until it was too late and then with privacy laws they probably couldn't recuperate the money because they didn't know how to find out who took it.

This is just my guess. If we don't agree with one another then that's fine. I agree to disagree. I hope you feel the same way. That's the American way right?
