Chip-One thing you have done is awaken this somewhat slow string.
I know the fundamentals of Tellabs as well as anyone on this string and I try to look at the overall picture in global telecommunications trends as well as be knowledgable about Tellab's management team ,plants,product lines, workers,competition etc.
I'm willing to wait out any downturn of say $10 in Tellab's value,as witnessed by it's recent downturn from $62 to $45. A upturn of anything even 1/4 of this magnitude would cause shorters like yourselves who are "fully margined" , to panic and buy yourself out of your losses. So get that $1 you bet me in your post#1358 on 10/11,97 ,"that Tellab's would close at $43 within the next month", out, because IMHO you will be losing this bet. By the way, I insist that you seperate this $1 from your fully margined account so that it will still be there after you panic and reenter the market in a buying mode to minimize your losses.
