To the "Thread,"

Simula announced this morning that it has received 16G seat orders from British Airways. The orders are for a total of three "shipsets", with two scheduled for delivery in late 1998 and one for early 1999.

The significance of the order is that it is for Boeing 777 aircraft, and represents Simula's first seat order for that aircraft type.

It isn't clear to me at this time (I write this at 5:23 AM Phoenix time...so a company check wasn't possible), whether this is the first 16G order that Simula has received from British Air. However, I have checked the most recent prospectus and could not locate British Air among the list of companies that Simula already had a vendor relationship with.

I will post more when I can.
