Not quite the result she had expected.

Millennium chief executive Deborah Dunsire says her company first approached Takeda looking for cancer drugs in the early stages of development that Millennium could in-license. But as the two companies started talking, the scope of the partnership increased until Takeda's chief broached the possibility of a merger.
