The bureaucratic nightmare that would ensue from a single payer plan cannot be overstated or its effect on our healthcare system minimized. The rationing and favoritism that would evolve would fully comply with the most powerful lobbyists in America and if any doubt how insane it would become, the city of San Francisco already covers gender changes for city employees.
