The world consumes 3.5 billion tonnes of oil per year. If it were water that would be how many cubic metres it would consume. That is a cube 4900 feet on a side. Big. 'strue. You were way off. And that is oil, not gas, uranium wood, wind, water etc... energy equivalent is far higher.
