Yep, Numonyx is extremely unlikely to use immersion at 45nm as Intel didn't consider it a serious enough candidate for 45nm.

This btw means Numonyx might have a way to further extent shrinking FG NOR to 32nm. High-k might be used now or to get to 32nm as well. Some of the biggest NAND manufacturers mentioned they might well go that route too for 40nm like Samsung. Another route is followed by IMFT that uses a triple metal, triple poly process for 50nm NAND. There's a lot of stuff surrouding Numonyx that we don't know the details about. There might be different routes to 32nm floating gate. I'm for sure not saying this is impossible.
