The big SUV's are not selling while the little Japanese hybrids are selling with waiting lines. SUV sales are down, while hybrid car sales are up. But waiting lines for the hybrids doesn't mean that hybrid car sales are higher than SUV sales. I'm pretty sure its the other way around, its just that supplies of hybrid cars are lower.
