The issue isn't are US companies at a cost disadvantage, . . . Actually, since you leaped into this conversation in midstream, perhaps you should know that it was, in fact, about that. You wish to talk about something else. . . .but would going to single payer help it. It would clearly help for some, but more generally its a very unsupported assertion. That finishes that elipse. Among the unsupported assertions flopping around, that's the big one. You seem to wish to debate the overall merits of a universal, single payer healthcare system. That debate, unless new information appears, is a waste of time right now. It's one of those topics in which the agree/disagre quotient was reached long ago.
