No it isn't, not really. Assuming or proving that they are at such a disadvantage doesn't take you anywhere. If you want to implement single payer to erase the disadvantage, than you have to show that it will do so. The existence of the disadvantage is not strong evidence that the change to single payer will eliminate the disadvantage.

The logic simply doesn't parse, Tim. From the viewpoint of any given company, transferring their health care costs to general tax revenues is obviously a cost saving exercise. You keep wishing to make this about the system wide merits of such.
