Until INTEL builds something new (such as MERCED) I think the clone makers will eat slightly away at INTEL's market share. The growth of the sub 1000 PC's on the home market is no fluke. Right now, the Pentium II MMX vs the AMD/Cyrix brands are roughly equivelant. The consumer needs a more compelling story coming from INTEL. I hope MERCED is the answer, but for the time being the differential has narrowed considerably. We could be treading down for the short term - still positive and long for the long term. Tom D
