John Obama is an intelligent person. As I have watched his campaign it has become obvious that he needed to get to know America. America is more than the places he went to in college and more than the streets of Chicago. In retrospect, I believe he would have been better advised to bide his time in the Senate, getting to know America as a country and people before trying for the golden ring. Maybe taking a few bowling lessons----going down to Texas and turkey hunting-----being a part of the people first. mj
