Even if some savings were achieved with a more effective administration, these would be a one time savings. The health care costs for the company I work for which has thousands insured have been rising 15% a year.

Why, an aging work force (like the country),

inflation on individual procedures / drugs,

more and more technology providing more options.

First off I am not convinced the government can administer more effectively than a private insurer,

maybe they can limit annual price increases for procedures,

but they are not going to do much about the volume of new demands because of an aging populace,

and how are they going to limit what new procedures are available?

How much of our annual national health care costs are because of illegal aliens? How come this is never political story from our Presidential candidates?

We hear about the greedy health care industry that would like to stay alive by turning a profit. But nothing about the billions spent on illegals for medical care.
