The reverend is the person whose words Obama used for his book title, married him and his wife, baptized his kids etc etc etc. As to who has more influence, I would go with the spiritual advisor over a staffer. Time doesn't have anything to do with it. Now from what Obama says, it doesn't appear he has taken much, if anything, from the reverend's negative message. That is a good thing. But Obama doesn't have much of a record so his actions, if he gets elected, will be scrutinized very closely in this regard. I have heard too many words and not enough action by politicians from both sides of the aisle to believe what is being said on the campaign trail. <<As the political novice, we should have expected more staff problems in the Obama camp, not the Clinton camp which has operated for two decades or more.>> Something I definitely agree with.
