If it's discovered that Bush actually threw his OWN body on that "nuke" to stop the detonation, then maybe you'll be right, but otherwise I don't see any way that Bush is gonna look GOOD no matter how far out you look.

You DO know that the FIRST major Terrorist Attack attempted in the U.S. was in 1993, right? They loaded a truck to the gills with explosives and set it off underneath one of the Twin Towers. It was the Terrorist's incompetence and not the lack of intention that prevented even MORE deaths than occurred on 9/11.

So, if you judge Presidencies by how long we go without Major terrorist attacks "within" the U.S., then Clinton STILL has the record over Bush.

Iraq could suddenly turn out GREAT tomorrow with all the Sunnis and Shiites and Kurds hugging each other and sending their kids off to camp together and the invasion and the last 5 years would STILL remain the DISASTER that it has been and the handling of it would STILL be a one of the worst foreign policy decisions in the history of the U.S.

Let's say that D-Day and the invasion of France had been a TOTAL disaster because of "documented" HORRIBLE PLANNING and WWII had gone on until 1955 because of it, with countless more lives and funds lost? Even if everything turned out well 'eventually' do you think Truman and Eisenhower would be remembered WELL?
