I recommend that you also try Incline bench presses and Decline bench presses with dumbbells. These work the same muscles from a different angle and with a different emphasis to help you get past sticking points on the flat bench. Another great exercise is underhanded bench presses. You hold your hands like you are doing a curl, not a press. It has a totally different sticking point. All of these require less weight, as they aren't quite as natural.
