Do we impose too many of our own values on the elected government so they cannot deal with it effectively? What? Hindsight's 20/20. Iraq has run on a tribal system since the dawn of time. Even Hussain didn't mess with the Tribal Chiefs. We went in there and tried to bypass them. Instant disaster. You can't change a society that radically. The Government should have been selected though the Tribal Chief system.
