Your frustrations are showing.

I'm not frustrated. I have too little interest in that survey to be frustrated over it. I just needed a word to describe those left of Obama. I guess I could have said "distant" left. We had used the word, "loony," on this thread before in a descriptive way, not as an insult. That was the way I used it. I thought it was OK. As for "you," it simply means "one." I use them as synonyms. There was no second person present to be offended. The only "you" parties were those unidentified persons who responded to the survey with "moderate." Surely they aren't reading my words. If they were, they might be more offended at being labeled, "uninformed."

I repeat again, Independents consider Obama as their candidate over Hillary and he has outvoted Hillary with that section of the electorate.

Fine, repeat it if you like, but it has nothing to do with whether or not Obama is a moderate. I dare you to find any evidence that Obama is a moderate. It's simply not so. Thus it seems reasonable to me that to perceive him as a moderate, one must be so very far left that he seems moderate in comparison or simply uninformed.

I'm an independent and I sure don't think he's moderate. There are no moderates among the contenders. Clinton and Obama are liberals and McCain is conservative.
