Thornhill was also tied directly to YA as they were their advisor, who structured both the SEDA agreements for NEOM, for very huge fees. I remember a debate where I questioned why NEOM had to pay Thornhill such a huge fee for the second SEDA when they already had one in the past and therefore had a relationship with YA. After further digging, it was found that Thornhill was the advisor arm of YA at the time, and was owned by YA as the two members of Thornhill members of Cornell board or something like that.
