You can say the exact same thing about every form of man-made government, especially those that try to supplant free-market economics in the name of egalitarianism.

One problem with libertarianism is that there is no consensus among libertarians with regard to just how far government minimalism should be taken. Not even those with good intentions can agree, and it only gets worse when you mix in the "sociopaths," the opportunists, etc.

But from my point-of-view, I see many people claiming to be social liberals but fiscal conservatives. If anything, that tells me they are libertarians, though one might expect that from those who have nothing to gain from government entitlement programs or "morality" legislation.
