Well, I would submit that oil and natgas should be more tightly correlated than oil and uranium (or u stocks). Nuclear power plants are not designed for fuel switching. Utilities do have the alternative of building coal or natgas fired power plants, though. But, given the lead time to design, permit and construct a nuclear plant, there are significant constraints on a supply-side response to price increases in hydrocarbons.
