Reuters: U.S. spot natural gas prices
traded mixed Monday, with most prices in the western half of the
nation boosted by warmer-than-normal temperatures that have
sparked some early cooling loads, while some Mid-Continent
prices gained on still-cool overnight readings, traders said.
Temperatures across California shattered records on Sunday,
soaring into the 90s or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, according
to AccuWeather.com.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: April 14, 2008 Independence Hub production remains at zero today and total Gulf production is down to about 10.6 Bcf/d, compared to 11.8 Bcf/d in March and 12.1 Bcf/d in February. Gulfstream receipts are down about 350 MMcf/d from levels on Friday. Gulfstream production receipts were completely shutdown on Saturday and total receipts were limited to Destin. Receipts total 177 MMcf/d in today's evening cycle compared to 540 MMcf/d late last week. Destin is up to 566 MMcf/d from 375 MMcf/d a week ago. bentekenergy.com
