Who are the currently active national or state politicians (or big city mayors) we could fairly say are moderate enough not to be labeled clearly liberal or conservative? I haven't made a list yet but I will ponder it this evening while I get away from the PC for a while. It would be an interesting project for everyone to chime in on - just a name or two and a brief reason why you think they could be considered moderate or centrist.
