We rightly criticize the right for using their constituency by making issues of religion and guns while not doing anything about their real problems. What you propose is the left's version of the same thing. For shame! Good heavens. You need to take a break, take a walk, do something to relax. Union organizing is about as mainstream as one can imagine in politics. It's always been a part of the right wing strategy to marginalize unions. Shame indeed. It's one of the tools to a better politics, one in which workers are accorded more rights and respect. Better working conditions. Etc.
