Not totally sure.. I'm just looking at it as a "hit & run" until it's future clarifies. But with a current P/E of 4, and the fact that they actually managed to sell some Cougars to the Brits ($125 million that won't be shared with their joint venture partners for US MRAPS), maybe it's the shorts recognizing the company's not going to zero (at least yet) and that it might be bought by one of the bigger defense contractors.

Now.. another company I follow, QTWW (also into solar and plug in cars) just sold off their Techstar subsidiary, which was making a potential HUMMER replacement (Cheetah) and they have a relationship with FRPT. It received rave reviews from the Marine Commandant for it's small size and armor protection and apparently still be offered.. (btw.. I had just flipped out of a QTWW position before I bought my EMKR and may repurchase it when it properly consolidates since it's also an "alt-energy tax credit play").

But I think MRAP vehicles, like Alt-Energy are going to be with us for the foreseeable future. They just need to be smaller and more field deployable.
