I had a lesson in the voter mentality of our country today.

I was talking with the superintendent of a beautiful new home we are working on..

While we were talking, three guys from the crew that was doing interior finishes came up to ask if they might be able to do some work over the coming weekend. The super says sure, any time you want, there is a keybox out front and you can let yourself in. The code to the key box is the year of our country's independence.

the guys look at each other, one guy says, "uhhh, 1492?"

super says, "hmmm, no. Our bicentennial was 1976"

the three look at each other, shrug, and say "can you just tell us."
