A new buzzword...

Have you noticed how often the term "headline inflation"
is now being used by the market pundits?

Consumers are not basing their spending, or economic
decisions based on the CPI, or the PPI. They're being hit
over the head, and in their wallets every day by food,
and energy prices (headline inflation).

If consumer spending represents 2/3rds of GDP, and if
consumers are focusing on headline inflation,
don't you think it's about time that the market did?

Look how long it took pundits like Larry Kudlow to wake up
to the realities of inflation and the weaker U.S. Dollar...
and to finally listen to what gold has been saying for the
last 6+ years.

...patience.

It ain't easy, and that's why it's a virtue.

The market is about to finally enter a CPI/PPI free zone,
and headline inflation, real world inflation...
will finally begin to drive this market.

Reality always rules... sometimes it just takes a
little longer than others.

A great market to polish up that golf game...
and guess who just got a new putter?

Mo later,

S.O.T.B.
