Allen and all, Kurlak is at it again - what a power trip!...

Merrill Lynch said on Wednesday it lowered its 1997 and 1998 EPS
estimates on shares of U.S. chipmaker INTEL CORPORATION (down
513/16 to 86 at 10:15 am EDT) but maintained its near-term neutral
and long-term buy rating on the stock. Analyst Thomas Kurlak
reduced his 1997 EPS estimate to $3.70 from $4.21 and his 1998 EPS
estimate to a range of $3.50 to $3.75 from $4.90. After the market
close on Tuesday, Intel posted EPS of $0.88 or $1.57 billion, up
from $0.74, or $1.31 bln, in the same quarter last year, but below
the First Call consensus estimate of $0.91 a share. (Reuters 09:17
