The best book, or tirade, if you will, that I have read on the subject is 'Deer Hunting with Jesus'. Obama was never going to be a big winner with that group, but he needs some of them in order to win. Either that, or large numbers of them might stay home. If the baiters in the media get them too angry, they might get off their inertia and go vote for McCain. I do think McCain made a shrewd political move yesterday by calling for a temporary repeal of the federal gas tax. Many people don't understand much, but 'tax cut' they get, even if its not in their best interest over the long haul.
