How could it possibly hurt us to build solar thermal power plants? I don't claim any knowledge of energy technology. If they're the best way to get energy, then by all means use that technology as new sources are built. Just don't immediately convert everything to that technology thinking you're going to stop the global crisis if it;s as described by the extreme proponents.
