Thoughts on the debate: -- A draw, and a half-hearted draw at that. -- Twenty-one debates in fifteen months is too many. The marginal value of watching these two go around the track one more time was minimal. -- ABC's questions kept the first half of the debate on trivial gotcha distractions, with almost nothing new illuminated as a result. -- Both candidates are tired and losing their pep. -- Ergo, this whole process is way too long to serve a useful purpose at this point. Enough already, let's do the last votes and get it over with. -- The actual policy differences between these two are maybe 10%, if that.
