Off Topic to Joe #2 Just as my frustration is reaching the breaking point, I find that the first shares I sold have cleared. The broker is going to deliver a check to me at church tonight. (I guess I won't be tempted to skip tonight!!) Maybe not surprisingly, the different divisions of Dean Witter Discover whatever are totally independent in operations so he couldn't transfer the credit to Discover Direct. I'll sure sleep better tonight knowing the money is in the pipeline. Bob
