Karl Rove has been seen at gay bars in DC, is rumored to have been secretly married to fellow rightwing closet case Grover Norquist, has a sham marriage to a "beard" woman, and was raised by an openly gay man. Of course there is no "documentation", and Rove has been careful since becoming famous. But remember, he alone had the power to allow gay escort Jeff Gannon into the White House 202 times in a single year in 2002, right after 9-11 when security was supposed to be super tight. and White House logs show Gannon did not leave 13 of those days, which means he may have spent the night. Since Rove ran the press operation with an iron fist, either he or one of his closest gay counterparts (Mehlman, McClellan?) was Gannon's boyfriend.

Considering J. Edgar Hoover and Roy Cohn were both closet drag queens in the McCarthyist fascist 509's, I don't see why this should surprise you. Far rightwingers are often fairies in private, just the opposite of their policies.
