<<<Voters are in love with the IDEA of Obama and oblivious to the problems of electing someone to this high office who has so little experience. The IDEA of Obama is attractive to me, too. But I also clearheadedly know that he would not be where he is if he were a young white junior senator who worked as a community organizer and learned how to give a good speech.>>>

This election is really going to be different. There is hunger for a black person to be President, not only from the black community but also from the elite white community. These people are so blinded by this prospect that they can't see the other side of the equation. There are an equal number of people on the other side who feel they are not getting a fair shake and will not let a black person get ahead of them in the queue.

But, I think people like you and I are the silent majority. We are the 40% in the middle of this mess and think that there are far more important things at stake in this election. Our voices are not being heard.
