I'm still puking over the ER. Only 2.4m shares traded today on incredibly bad news. Seems like evidence the market had already baked in another crappy quarter. Actually, this one was more like a hard boiled egg and beer fart.

It seems like $3 was the line in the sand once more for someone. I wonder if the support was coming from the same group that had been driving the stock up over the last month? Also, I wonder if $3 will continue to hold?

For me the really depressing thing was the demeanor of management. Gone was any bravado, they were kind of like whipped dogs. From the way management reacted, I'd say there are at least another couple of bad quarters ahead. What a nightmare.

A couple of questions come to mind. Why are they still outsourcing production when inventory is already off the chart? What happened that caused the quarter delay in Eclipse? Did anyone believe the slowdown in China story? And here's the big one; How do they expect to sell all the non-Eclipse products coming out of SP1 in Q2?

To me it looks like the NOR/NAND/DRAM guys are kicking SPSN's butt, but that may have just been a reaction to the collapsing NAND prices. I'll be checking to see how Samsung did. Right now I'd bet Samsung picked up wireless share even if Numonyx lost some.

Meanwhile, I've got to get back to the toilet.
