The reactions here in Utah to the state of Texas grabbing all the children is horror. There's a lot of sympathy for the polygamists. The mainline church has supposedly abandoned it, but any missionary can tell you that it "just isn't time yet" for multiple wives, but it's coming.

I am not surprised.....I don't know the particulars but I wonder if there wasn't a better way to deal with the problem. It turns out that the person who called 911 doesn't even live in the compound.

Having said that, I think the women who live there are very strange.
