Bruce, I'm involved in a daytrading office in Salt Lake City called Maverick Trading. I don't mean to butt in but I want to express my opinion on "management encouraging everyone to wait for a good trade". We at Maverick want successful traders who make money month in and month out. We have been in business for almost six months and we are constantly telling our clients to wait, look for good trades don't just trade to be trading. Does eveyone listen? No! Some traders just can't keep from pushing the buttons. Most have learned through experience that there are thousand of trading oppertunities each day, so if the 5 - 10 stocks that they normally trade aren't moving they look for other oppertuities. We have seen those traders that come in and don't follow the rules that we have set up and these traders are not as successful as those who follow the rules. The one big rule DON'T HOLD OVERNIGHT! How would you liked to have been holding INTC overnight last night? Anyway enough of the soapbox. I love this business and if a person does it right I think this is a great way to make a living.
