Ha! funny. Let me ask you something...
Have you ever had a headache? What did you do, if anything, to alleviate the pain?
Let me ask you something else, have you ever had a ADR to a medication that you took for some type of health problem? Well I have...it was scary and I thought I was going to die. In fact I'm extremely sensitive to all drugs due to the fact I was born unhealthy and I have had to take prescription drugs all my life. These legal prescription medications ALL have side effects. No matter what drug you take you are ALWAYS sacrificing one organ in your body to help another. This is a fact that is beyond dispute.
Now if you can, imagine for a moment a time when you had a really, really big headache. At first you reached for aspirin, which worked great at first, until you realized that it reacted with the ulcer in your stomach and made it bleed. Next you tried ibuprofen, again worked great for your headache, except that drug reacted with your kidneys that have already been weakened by other prescription meds. So then you decided to try naproxen sodium, again took away your headache, but the side effect of dizziness left you unable to drive to work. After three over the counter meds you go to the doctor where he prescribes (after 3 visits) codeine, then vicoden, then oxycodone all with similar problems of side effects, constipation being the top culprit.
Now you have tried all legal meds for your killer headache that won't go away. As it so happens there is one drug out there whose side effects can be tolerated and is also effective, but unfortunately illegal. What I want to know is....who the HELL are you to tell me that pot doesn't work for my headache? Really? You know better that ME that pot is ineffective for my specific medical problem?
Let's go back to the first question I asked you; Have you ever had a headache? I'll assume you have. So my next question is can you prove it? Of course not, it is quite figuratively and literally all in your head!! So if I also assume you have taken aspirin or some other over the counter medication for your headache, did it go away? Really?!? Prove it. You can't freaking prove it. There is not a single diagnostic test in the world that can A) Prove you have a headache. and B) Prove aspirin did anything to take it away. But yet you reach for the aspirin without a second thought!! Amazing!
Now you have the gall to tell me, a responsible adult, that I can't take a mostly benign, and powerful drug because YOU THINK that it is BS. That there aren't any real or PERCEIVED medicinal benefits from smoking a little grass? And that the side effects of smoking grass are somehow greater and worse than all of the other drugs I've tried?!?
Sir, with all due respect, I find that type of arrogance to be stunning.
I really don't care what you think you know medically about this plant. You don't know anything. In fact, you know less than nothing. So stop with your attitude, and let the legalization for this plant continue unabated.
Stop throwing people into jail over a plant. Stop ruining other peoples lives. Stop it!! |
