LA PRAIRIE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 18, 2008) - The management Of Vantex Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: VTX.V) wishes to inform its shareholders on the progress of its current exploration work on the Guillet property, located near the town of Belleterre, Temiscamingue.
Percussion diamond drilling was recently completed on the AB and B zones. Assays should be made available in the coming weeks. All the results will be compiled in order to better define the bulk sampling to be treated at the Camflo mill.
As soon as these zones will be surveyed, a new phase of drilling will begin on the Jourdan, 70 and A-SO gold showings.
Concurrently to the percussion drilling program, the company has also begun a 6,000 m. diamond drilling program on the eastern and northern part of the Guillet property. Many geophysical targets will be tested for their gold potential. Other geological targets in the northern part of the property will also be drilled in the near future.
The company is also planning for a 2,000 m diamond drilling program on the Ortona property, located a few kilometres west of the Guillet property. This drilling program will begin this summer.
A 43-101 geological report is also being prepared on the recently acquired Santa-Anna property. Stripping, sampling and drilling are planned for this summer.
Current and planned exploration work is supervised by M. Daniel Kelly, geological engineer and independent consultant. All assays are done at Laboratoire Expert in Rouyn-Noranda
