Does the nature of truth change because it is stated by a wacko? If Manson says that fire is hot, does that make it untrue?

To me the gist of his point is true, that being that because of Bush's decision to go in to Iraq a very large number of human beings have lost their lives. To get lost on the number is to miss the point. And fact is a particular number can not be proven decisively one way or the other to be correct.
