i'm glad you still push this issue. i go in waves because the pressure builds up and nothing seems to get done. then some progress is made reinvigorating my efforts and i start volunteering again. writing letters, getting involved...u know the drill.

for me it's disgusting really. on so many levels. it becomes so hard to understand how anybody with an IQ over a 100 can't see the obvious. i mean, i understand and empathize with some of THEIR reservations...they can't do me the favor of AT LEAST giving my concerns some credit, some thought, something? Instead of the standard straw man arguments, and misdirected deductive reasoning that leads to "but what about the kids!" yeah. what about them?! pretty sure they are getting a prescription to Prozac because you would rather they sit in front of a TV than spend time with them.

whatever. i hope this nonsense goes away someday before i get to old.
