I have often thought that some of this money raised for the campaigns could turn things around in NOLA. That is, provided honest people were administering the funds....a big "if". What attracted me to Mc Cain many years ago was his desire to do some campaign finance reform. I am not sure I can vote for him now but I am equally unsure whether I can vote for Obama. The economy will be critical over the next few years so I will need to look hard at the candidates and vote for the one who is most fiscally conservative. I think increased spending might precipitate a US implosion.
